HEYBRIDGE Swifts kept their bid for the North Division title in rude health with a hard-fought victory over Witham Town on Friday night.
In an Essex derby at a foggy Aspen Waite Arena, the decisive goal came from a corner when centre-back Luke Wilson made a clever run and duly powered in a firm header after losing his marker inside the penalty area.
A hearty crowd of more than 300 struggled to see much of the play at the other end of the pitch.
