IN A must-win game between two sides looking to beat the drop it was the Hertford Town who came out on top after a convincing first half performance, led from the front by Tommy Wade.
On 22 minutes they went ahead when Brett O’Connor won the ball in midfield and played in Mark Twumasi whose cross from the left was superbly guided home by Wade.
And Wade made it 2-0 when O’Connor’s free-kick was parried out by the keeper and he reacted quickest to fire in.
