HEARTBREAK in the play-offs last season won’t affect hopes of promotion at Marlow, says manager Mark Bartley. The Blues were beaten in the Isthmian South Central semi-finals by eventual winners Cheshunt after finishing fourth.
It was the second time in three seasons Bartley’s side fell just short in the play-offs, ultimately extending their long-awaited return to Step 3 since 1995.
