MARGATE led from start to finish in a narrow victory over bottom club Casuals.
Casuals’ habit of slow starts continued when Margate’s Elliott Reeves fired a low shot into the far corner, from the edge of the box in the first minute.
The hosts responded when Bradley Wilson fired at Gate keeper Joe Tupper, and Jack Strange volleyed over.
Margate’s Kadell Daniel then curled a 25-yard free-kick just over the crossbar.
Then Tupper kept the visitors ahead, acrobatically palming away Shaun Okojie’s powerful header.
