WINGATE & Finchley lifted themselves out of the bottom three with three valuable points at a dripping wet Dripping Pan.
The visitors took the lead on three minutes when Charlie Ruff was on hand to slide the ball home after a neat pass dissected the Lewes centre-backs.
The Blues thought they had doubled their lead in the 22nd minute.
Henry Ochieng’s terrifi c strike was heading for the top corner but Rooks keeper Nathan Stroomberg leapt to pull off a fantastic save.
But, ten minutes later, Ochieng had his goal, stealing in at the far post ...
