RED CARDS outnumbered goals three to two as Brightlingsea and Cheshunt drew a bad-tempered basement battle.
George Bugg’s early goal for the hosts was cancelled out by Ryan Moss early in the second half.
But it was a game in which Rs keeper Charlie Turner and Ambers’ pair Ibrahim Diallo and Zack Newton dismissed in the second half.
Regent were ahead on seven minutes, Bugg getting the final touch to finish a swift counter-attack.
