CHRISTIE PATTISON’S scrambled goal in first half stoppage-time was enough to give Carshalton victory at The Dripping Pan.
They should have taken the lead on eight minutes when Pattison race clear but his final touch was poor and Lewes keeper Nathan Stroomberg- Clarke snuffed out the danger.
The hosts’ first chance fell to Dayshonne Golding but his shot was saved by Robins keeper Kleton Perntreou’s legs.
In the 24th minute James Hammond’s freekick from 45 yards was tipped over the bar by the Carshalton keeper.
