LEATHERHEAD overcame struggling Stortford thanks to two debutants scoring their fi rst goals in Tanners colours.
The hosts were in control throughout a fi rst quarter which they rounded off by taking the lead.
Charlie Hester-Cook’s 14th-minute shot unluckily defl ected off team-mate Stefan Brown Jerry Nnamani fi red over on 18 minutes after more good work by Hester-Cook and three minutes later Blackman contrived to head wide of an open goal.
