CRAY continued their play-off push with this narrow win over a battling East Thurrock side who played over an hour with ten men. The game swung on two key moments.
On the half hour, Rocks full-back Jordan Brown was adjudged to have gone in studs-up in a full-blooded challenge Wands’ Rhys Murrell-Williamson, and picked up a straight red card.
The second key moment came on 52 minutes, and proved to be the winning goal. Murrell-Williamson sent a superbly struck free-kick screaming into the top corner of Home keeper Jack Giddens net...
