WORTHING came from behind but were left frustrated for the second weekend running, although they now lead the division by seven points thanks to postponements elsewhere.
Dayshone Golding so nearly marked his Worthing debut with a fourth-minute goal, however Potters Bar keeper R’Avan Constable tipped his volley over.
The hosts had most of the early possession but created few clear-cut chances.
And they were punished for their profligacy when the Scholars took the lead on 33 minutes thanks to a super solo goal.
