CARSHALTON scored in each half to maintain their play-off spot against the struggling, ten-man visitors.
Cheshunt keeper Preston Edwards kept his side in it during a tight first-half.
Firstly, he tipped over Christie Pattisson’s sweet half-volley at full stretch.
And he then showed bravery by rushing out to block at the feet of Ola Sogbanmu after the midfielder was played in behind the visitors’ increasingly stretched defence.
But the Robins broke the deadlock five minutes before the break.
