AVELEY have re-signed popular full-back Jon Nzengo after a season away from Parkside – while Morisi Gelashvili will also return to the Millers next season.
Nzengo made 35 appearances in the Millers defence in 2019-20, helping the club to a record run to the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy run, scoring in the giant killing victory over Chelmsford City.
He spent last season with East Thurrock United – his second spell there – but Defender Gelashvili signed for the Millers from a second spell at Brightlingsea Regent in October 2020, having replayed only nine times for the Rocks before the season was declared null and void.
Nzengo also played for Romford in 2017-18, making 49 appearances and scoring eight goals, including four in his first five games.
He will line up for the Isthmian North promotion chasers next year alongside Morisi Gelashvili, who announced he would be staying with the club for 2021-22.

Earlier in his career, Gelashvili turned out for Stanway Rovers having arrived in the UK from Georgia where he played professionally.
