CALLUM Chafer is gunning for the Isthmian North title – after linking up with his dad’s boyhood hero at Heybridge Swifts.
Chafer has completed an eye-catching move to the Aspen Waite Arena from Isthmian Premier outfit Bowers & Pitsea.
The switch means the goalkeeper will work under Julian Dicks, the West Ham United legend who has taken over as Swifts’ boss for a second time.
Chafer, a Hammers fan, admits signing for the former left-back has gone down well with the family and he is hoping to enjoy a fruitful spell with the Essex side.
