■ WHITEHAWK edged an intriguing game against luckless Sittingbourne.
The visitors had the better of the first half and should have been in front. Kane Rowland fired a penalty high over after Ahmed Abdulla had been flattened, before Rowland shot wide of the Whitehawk right post after beating the offside trap. Just after the break, Ronnie Conlon gave the home side the lead as the visitors waited for an offside flag.
