■ BEN POPE scored twice as Hastings hit four on the road for the second week running.
They followed up their FA Cup win at Harefield with another strong display to cap a tough week for Oaks, following their midweek exit from the competition. Gary Elphick put Hastings in front after 10 minutes, before Pope doubled the lead 12 minutes later, heading home Dave Martin’s cross.
Stefan Wright’s effort was cleared off the line at the other end, before Tom Chalmers missed two chances that might have put the game to bed for Hastings by half...
