■ LANCING secured their first points of the season with victory over Whitstable Town.
Bradley Campbell -Francis latched on to a pass from Ansu Janneh, rounding keeper Dan Eason before rolling the ball into an empty net after nine minutes to ultimately settle the encounter.
Lancing missed two good chances to increase their lead, both falling to Matt Daniel, who headed over from close and then firing over from Campbell-Francis’s cross.
