■ NEW arrival Kemo Darboe struck the decisive blow as Whitstable made it two wins in a row on the road to move out of the automatic relegation places.
In only his second match since joining the Oystermen, Darboe raced through a gap in the home rearguard to fire beyond Hawks’ keeper Nathan Stroomberg to score the game’s only goal with 15 minutes left.
Whitehawk had dominated the early stages with Javaun Splatt forcing Daniel Eason to save at full stretch, before Mohammed Kamara had an effort chalked off for offside.
