■ STAINES turned up to High Road well organised and full of endeavour under their interim manager Chico Ramos – and showed it really is Chico time after taking home all three points.
They weathered early pressure from Chipstead and took the lead after 17 minutes with the only goal of the match.
Number nine Jack Torbett, who intercepted a ball played across the back line, slid it into an empty net.
The rest of the encounter largely saw Staines soaking up the pressure, with the home side searching – in vain – for a goal and a point...
