■ SUBSTITUTE Toby Bancroft’s first touch was enough for Sittingbourne to continue their impressive home form with a gritty win.
It was tough on the former Sittingbourne goalkeeper Joe Docherty who made three stunning saves in the first half to deny Kane Rowland and Duane Ofori-Acheampong after blocking Ahmed Abdulla’s low drive.
Docherty again denied Acheampong early in the second half, before he was finally beaten when he couldn’t hold a low shot, and Bancroft was on hand to tap home.
