A BATTLING performance earned Hornchurch their sixth league win in a row against visitors Bishop’s Stortford.
The first half hour was confined mostly to midfield until Ola Ogunwamide opened the scoring for the hosts with the winger surging forward into the Blues’ penalty area, dancing round the challenges of onrushing defenders and curling an effort past Jack Giddens.
For Stortford, Darren Foxley’s long-range effort was heading for goal until Joe Wright parried well.
