■ ROVERS entertained high flying Hanwell Town with many of the visitors’ supporters confidently proclaiming an easy win.
A tough first half saw plenty of action in and around both penalty areas but nothing to really trouble either keeper.
Rovers had an effort chalked off on the half hour when Yao Christoph Aziamale rounded Hugo Sobte but was adjudged offside and the visitors were to make Rovers pay just before the break.
