Basingstoke continued their push for a playoff spot as they came from behind to edge out a spirited Chipstead side.
After an even opening, the returning Daryl Coleman was tripped just outside the Basingstoke box and Teo Kurtaran curled a free-kick into the top corner after 24 minutes.
The lead lasted almost until half-time, but the visitors equalised when Stefan Brown turned the ball home from close range. Basingstoke scored their second after 61 minutes, when a corner wasn’t cleared and Bradley Wilson poked the ball home.
