MOLES MOVE ON

COMBINED Counties South basement side Molesey have appointed a new management team in a last-ditch bid to avoid relegation.
The Moles have won just two wins from 29 league games – and having played more games than the sides above them – forcing boss Warren Burton, who took over the first-team reins in October, to step down.
The Surrey club have replaced him with Cobham under 23s boss Pete Doherty, who has brought along his number two Craig McManus and coach Lee Innes.
