■ SPORTS crept up to third in the table with an impressive win at home to Chalfont. Giovanni Palmer gave the home side the lead in the 19th minute but the Chalfont defence kept Sports at bay for the remainder of the half.
The second period exploded into life when Bedfont scored three goals in a five-minute period.
Dan Williams made it 2-0 in the 53rd minute before Darryl Sanders scored a thunderbolt in the 57th minute. Kevin Diomande then made it 4-0 a minute later as Chalfont collapsed.
