BRIGHTLINGSEA were unable to break down Carshalton in a match whose result did little for either sides’ ambitions.
The Rs will be happier with the point, as they inched clear of the drop zone, while the Robins’ play-off hopes are now allbut-gone.
Regent were very close to a dream start, inside three minutes, Ollie Bell’s through ball found Connor Barnby, whose shot was well saved by Robins keeper Lloyd Thomas, with Aaron Blair unable to net the rebound.
