A LAST-minute goal by Anthony Adesite finally killed off any chance of Bridges making a comeback in a game that started with the sides evenly matched.
A free-kick by Youssef Bamba needed a good low save by Mitch Bromage, and VCD then struck twice in the last six minutes of the first half.
A perfect cross by Chris Edwards was headed in by Kevin Lisbie and a long ball from right found Bamba, who made no mistake.
Callum Chesworth netted for the visitors ten minutes from time. But Bridges couldn’t find a leveller.
