CRISIS club Staines Town have struck an agreement to complete their Isthmian League season – all thanks to their celebrity fan.
TV astrologer and personality Russell Grant stepped in to rescue his beloved Swans amidst a bitter row with their Wheatsheaf Park landlords Dowling LLP which threatened to bring their season to a premature end.
Neighbours Bedfont Sports lent a hand by agreeing to host the first two of their three remaining home games this week in order to help the relegated Middlesex club fulfil their Isthmian South Central schedule.
