■THE spoils were shared as the Kent derby failed to light the blue touchpaper.
Chatham perhaps shaded the first half as Jack Evans’ shot deflected onto the bar, while just before the break, Dan Bradshaw fired wide with the goal at his mercy.
The home side had the better of the second half with new signing Mario Quiassaca– who had a ‘goal’ ruled out in the first half – denied by a brave keeper at his feet, while Donvieve Jones’ drive was brilliantly kept out by Ben Bridle-Card.
