HULLBRIDGE and Lowestoft Town were unable to be separated in this encounter that saw Kyle Haylock’s red card steal the headlines.
The goalless draw comes as a surprise, considering the contrasting fortunes of both sides in the league so far this season, with Lowestoft sitting top, and Hullbridge as low as 15th. Yet, despite the gap in quality on paper, things were very much even on the pitch.
The hosts had chances to take the lead through Harry Honesty, and were spurred on after Haylock was handed a straight red, but they couldn’t take advantage...
