JONATHAN HOOD scored his third goal in the last four games as Chipstead came from 2-0 down to take all the points at Leatherhead.
Hood showed his predatory instincts in front of goal to roll in the winner late on.
Leatherhead had looked set to give new boss Hayden Bird a winning start when Dave Tarpey curled in a peach of a free-kick, the Tanners’ first home league goal this season.
Tarpey set up a second for Reise Allasani 11 minutes later only for Michael Dixon to reduce the arrears.
