■ RAMSGATE pulled off the biggest smash-and-grab job in Mid Sussex that we have seen in a long time.
They took the lead against the run of play, Josh Ajayi laid it on a plate for Tijan Jadama and he slotted under Tommy Reid. From then, it was all Burgess Hill, but they couldn’t kick the sphere into that pesky rectangle.
The Hill did more of the same in the second 45, huffing and puffing, chance after chance but good saves, bad luck and proper shoddy finishing all contributed to to the most frustrating afternoon in Mid Sussex.
