DAVE TARPEY’S last-gasp penalty gave Leatherhead three hard-earned points at home to visitors Ashford Town.
The Tanners looked like they’d have to settle for a draw on a day when they hit the woodwork three times, but with the game in its dying embers Tarpey was pushed over and a spot-kick awarded.
The goal-scorer picked himself up to take the kick and although Tangerines’ keeper Fred Chapman got a hand to it, he couldn’t keep it out.
