A MUCH-NEEDED late goal from the matchwinner Nick Dembele saw the Scholars take the points and return to the top of the Pitching In Isthmian League Premier table. An uninspiring first half saw defences on top with neither side seriously troubling the other’s goalkeeper despite the home side having the majority of the possession.
A brighter second period at The Pakex Stadium Parkfield saw the Scholars up the pace and increase the pressure on a resolute Bowers defence.
