WROXHAM got their first home win of the season as they narrowly beat Brentwood Town at Trafford Park. After a lacklustre first 28 minutes, Wroxham took the lead. Conley Poynter hit the upright and following a goalmouth scramble the referee said the ball had crossed the line and awarded the goal after Shaun Taylor’s shot.
Just before the break Wroxham came close to a second as Harry Barker’s curling shot was palmed away by Harry Girling to keep the score 1-0 at the break.
