DESPITE being reduced to ten men following Zak Bryan’s sending off after 43 minutes, VCD Athletic held on for a valuable point at Hythe Town.
The home side edged the first half but did not manage to get the all-important goal that would have given them the advantage at half-time.
In the second half the away defence remained resolute despite the increasing pressure that was coming as Hythe swept forward in search of a winner as they attempted to make the extra man count.
