A CROWD of almost 500 saw defences on top in Kent in one of the few games to beat the weather.
Ramsgate found it hard going in the first half – they persisted with a high press but the second ball seemed to continually fall the way of Chichester.
Although there was little for either keeper to do, the best first-half chances fell the way of the Rams.
The Rams were slow out of the blocks in the second half as Chichester bossed the game.
But the hosts came back into it and showed a bit more urgency in the final 20 minutes. ...
