A WELL earned three points took Lancing into 12th place and level with Hythe Town.
Play was end to end in the first half. Lancing had keeper Alieu Secka to thank for a fine reaction save to keep out a header from Marcus Goldsmith on the half-hour mark.
Lancing took the lead after 52 minutes, Marcus Allen volleying home from a ball crossed from a corner. Hythe thought they had levelled shortly after but the goal was disallowed.
