■ THE only goal of this frantic exchange fell to Chertsey Town five minutes into stoppage time, as visitors Sutton Common Rovers hung on. The dismissal of Marcus Marku in the 21st minute gave Town every chance of winning their first game in eight matches.
It looked like this might be comfortably achieved, but a combination of overplayed passes, a packed defence, missed open goals and some nippy keeping by James Dillon kept the home side at bay.
