■ MERSTHAM’S seven-match unbeaten run came to an end with a hugely disappointing performance.
Binfield dominated the game from start to finish and thoroughly deserved the three points. It was no real surprise when they went ahead after 26 minutes when Conor Lynch turned well in the box and fired home from six yards.
Merstham began the second half much better.
But, in the 63rd minute, a mix up between Chalupniczak and Goode gifted Binfield a second which Lynch accepted when he tapped home.
From that point on, the Moatsiders never reall...
