■ A GOAL in each half was sufficient for Marlow to complete a second victory of the season against struggling Tooting & Mitcham. The win, on Non-League Day in the presence of ambassador Stuart Pearson, came courtesy of a goal in each half.
With the home side missing several regulars and the visitors fielding some recent new signings, the game took a while to settle.
Marlow took the lead in the 20th minute through recent signing Khalid Simmo. It wasn’t in the 50th minute when matters changed again in favour of the home side.
