■ THE game between East Thurrock and Heybridge Swifts started very slowly, with both teams feeling out their opponents.
The visitors had the first chance, when Rhys Henry dragged his shot wide.
Heybridge were shot down when Ben Sartain came off after 20 minutes with a head injury. However, they soon picked up when Matt Price dribbled past three defenders to leave the ball on a plate for Lee Noble, who finished superbly. Noble nearly got his second by chipping keeper Anthony Page from 45 yards.
