■ BURY Town were forced to settle for a draw against nine-man New Salamis. A bright start to the game from the hosts saw them win a penalty after eight minutes, but Cemal Ramadan’s spot-kick was saved by Reuben Rabstein.
 Bury took the lead through Darren Mills after 16 minutes, and also hit a post after 20 minutes. But it was New Salamis who stuck next with Nathan Mandla firing the visitors level.
