■ THE teams shared the spoils at the Simarco Stadium in a contest that will not live long in the memory.
Darius Guinea’s shot hit the Witham crossbar in the second minute before Witham defender Farai Tsingano put the hosts ahead in the 13th minute.
Ryan Richefond then headed off the line for Witham as Hullbridge fought back and George Forrest knocked a shot just wide from the subsequent corner. The visitors equalised in the 28th minute when the impressive Guinea headed past Rhys Madden at the far post from a cross.
