■ ADEBAYO Akinfenwa missed a stoppage-time penalty as his first appearance for relegation-haunted Faversham at Salter’s Lane ended in defeat.
‘The Beast’, who made over 200 appearances for Wycombe in his much-travelled career had a last-gasp chance to save a point after coming off the bench, but saw his effort superbly saved by substitute Harrison Pont, himself on as substitute for regular keeper Harley Earle, injured in the penalty incident. Joe Tyrie poked home what proved to be the winner for the Brickies six minutes before half time.
