THERE’S a new leader in the Isthmian Premier Division, as promotion-chasing Bishops Stortford cruised into top spot with a comfy 2-0 away win over fading Carshalton Athletic.
Hornchurch’s stunning defeat at Horsham meant movement atop the standings, with Stortford’s top scorer Frankie Merrifield netting his 22nd goal of the campaign after just five minutes.
