EAST Thurrock United coach John Guyton is pulling on his running shoes and heading to Germany – to run a marathon in aid of a children’s cancer charity.
The former Basildon United boss and Brentwood Town director of football recently completed the London Marathon in aid of the charity Children with Cancer UK.
Now he’s set to compete in the Berlin Marathon where he aims to raise an extra £1,000 for the charity, which does magnificent work in researching cures for childhood cancer and helping those who suffer from the diseases.
