WITHOUT the strike power of Jake Reed and Adam Hipperson, Lowestoft were always going to find goals difficult to come by against lowly Grays Athletic. Lowestoft enjoyed the major share of possession, but couldn’t find a final cutting edge.
Adour game was crying out for a touch of class and Lowestoft finally provided it five minutes before the break. The hard-working Kyle Haylock was clipped on the edge of the area and Harvey Sayer sent a direct free-kick in off the underside of the crossbar.
