■BOWERS & Pitsea scraped past a battling Ipswich Wanderers, with Matt Price scoring the only goal of the game.
A scrappy first half saw neither side create much, Wanderers manager Glenn Driver harshly being sent off for knocking the ball away the only point of note.
Price controversially opened the scoring in the 55th minute after he turned home Luke Reeve’s knock down.
Kris Rose appeared to have cleared off the line, with the ball cannoning off the crossbar, but the assistant referee flagged for a goal.
