THREE goals in injury time saw the points ultimately shared in a slow-burner of a game at the Dripping Pan.
The first half provided little in the way of chances for either team. Chris Whelpdale headed against the Canvey Island bar midway through the half, while Rooks full-back Sam Oguntayo forced goalkeeper Sam Jackson into a smart save at his near-post.
Lewes came out for the second half with more urgency and created a couple of early chances, with Whelpdale again looking the most likely player to break the deadlock.
