■ MALDON & Tiptree were made to settle for a point by a resolute Tilbury side at Park Drive yesterday afternoon.
The first half was low on both quality and the number of chances that were created.
Maldon goalkeeper Jamie Grosshart was the busier of the two goalkeepers, but wasn’t overly tested.
Maldon started the second half brightly, Ted Collis drawing a fine diving save from Christian North in the 54th minute.
The Jammers had the better of the second half chances.
